Vietnam coconut bran wastewater treatment equipment project

Project Background
A coconut coir processing enterprise in Vietnam required a wastewater treatment system to address production effluent containing high concentrations of organic matter and fiber impurities, ensuring compliance with discharge standards. Additionally, the facility needed a new water purification station to secure production water supply. Shandong Chuanyi Water Treatment Technology Co., Ltd. conducted a technical feasibility analysis and customized a combined process of ?"Pretreatment + MBR Membrane Bioreactor + Reverse Osmosis (RO)"?. The equipment was manufactured and shipped to Vietnam in May 2025
?Core Equipment and Technology
?Wastewater Treatment Unit? ?Capacity?: 40 T/H coconut coir wastewater ?Process Flow?: Grating screening → Equalization tank → Air flotation for slag removal → Anaerobic reactor → MBR membrane module → Disinfection and discharge ?Technical Highlights?: Anti-clogging MBR membrane modules resistant to fiber impurities; integrated intelligent control system with remote monitoring. ?Water Purification Unit? ?Output?: 100 T/H ultrafiltration purified water (turbidity ≤0.1 NTU) ?Configuration?: Multi-media filtration + ultrafiltration + UV sterilization system, optimized for Vietnam’s high-temperature water conditions.
?Project Implementation
??Delivery Timeline?: Equipment production completed on April 22, 2025; shipped from Yantai Port on May 7, 2025. ?On-site Services?: Engineers dispatched for installation guidance and commissioning, achieving ?effluent COD <50 mg/L? and ?purified water conductivity ≤10 μS/cm?. ?Policy Alignment?: Leveraged Vietnam’s environmental tax incentives to reduce project costs by 8% for the client.
Project Outcomes?
- Achieved ?60% wastewater reuse rate? and ?annual reduction of 120 tons of organic pollutants?.
- Purification system energy consumption reduced by ?15%? compared to local standards.
- Awarded the ?“Excellence Supplier Certification”? by the Vietnamese client.
